Idaho Department of Fish and Game has new online bear identification training and test

Recently Idaho Department of Fish and Game has installed on their website a new online bear identification test. Currently this test is voluntary and not mandatory for bear hunters, but does serve as a valuable learning tool. The state of Washington also recently placed their online bear identification and test on the web and can be located on the GBOP website within the bear identification section. The state of Montana has had their online identification and test in place for several years and is required for bear hunters in that state. These tests not only serve as a valuable tool for hunters for bear identification, but also serves as a valuable tool of the non hunters who wish to learn a refresh their bear identification skills.
